A Specialized Program for Surgical and Gastroenterology Fellows
Application deadline October 17, 2026
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The 2026 Motility EFS Fellows Course is a specialized educational program for surgical and gastroenterology fellows, supported by Laborieand Enterra and designed to provide a practical, multidisciplinary approach to the modern management of gastroparesis.
The course combines focused expert presentations, interactive case-based discussions and procedure videos to guide participants through the complete clinical pathway — from understanding the pathophysiology and clinical phenotypes of gastroparesis to diagnostic evaluation, medical management and selection of appropriate interventional therapies.
Particular emphasis will be placed on individualized treatment strategies and clinical decision-making, including G-POEM, laparoscopic pyloroplasty and gastric electrical stimulation with Enterra Therapy. Participants will also be introduced to the fundamental principles of Enterra Therapy programming, therapy titration and symptom-driven adjustments.
With a strong focus on European clinical practice, the program aims to provide fellows with practical knowledge, treatment algorithms and clinical insights that can be directly applied in the multidisciplinary management of patients with gastroparesis.
