The European Foregut Society (EFS) is a young and unique organisation https://euro-fs.org/

Our founding principles are to foster partnership and exchange of ideas throughout Europe, across disciplines and between all clinicians in the management of patients with benign and pre-malignant foregut disease. We encourage international multidisciplinary dialogue, education, and research. Our society is assisting in the development of benchmarks that improve diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes for patients with foregut symptoms and we offer support for their implementation.

We held our first international meeting in Vienna in 2020 and are now organising the 4^th Annual EFS Meeting in London at The Royal Society of Medicine, on November 6^th – 7^th, 2024. Our faculty will include approximately 50 invited lecturers who are Key Opinion Leaders from all over the World and we expect 250-300 participants from most European countries; at last year’s meeting in Milan delegates travelled from 17 countries. The program will be of special interest to all surgeons and gastroenterologists as well as dieticians, physiologists and ENT surgeons managing patients with foregut symptoms and pathology.
